With this home however, I can see no reason you would ever want to.

We approach the home via an open garden area where we find the home’s dedicated parking slot. A small canopy style porch offers protection to the kitchen window and the adjacent solid wood front door. Stepping through here puts us in the inner hallway where to our immediate left is the doorway into the kitchen.

Although compact, this is a miracle of clever design in the way it contains every imaginable labour saving device without ever feeling cramped. The integrated fridge and freezer form part of a complete wall of storage units which also incorporate the oven and microwave. The gas hob occupies the work top at the far end of the room, while the sink with the dishwasher beneath overlooks the front of the home. It is neat in appearance and efficient in operation, exactly as a working kitchen should be.

Adjacent to here and opposite the ever present under-the-stairs cupboard, is the comfortable downstairs cloakroom. This has a modern wall mounted hand basin and low level flush lavatory and to be honest, until you have lived with such a facility you begin to wonder have you ever managed without. No more guests tramping up and down your stairs leaving mucky footprints on the landing carpet and, the added luxury of you being able to get to the loo during the commercial break and not missing any of the evening’s shenanigans in Wetherfield.

Towards the rear of the home we come into the lounge, a pleasant and bright room aided in this by the full width sliding patio doors overlooking the enclosed rear garden. The dimensions offered are more than adequate to provide a comfortable living space while simultaneously accommodating a dining table and four chairs without feeling overcrowded. Being centrally heated the room has no fireplace as such, the focal point being providing by the telly, which I suppose is where most eyes are directed anyway so perhaps this is no bad thing.

Stepping outside and into the rear garden we find an area enclosed by quality wooden fence panels. Here, there is a flagged patio area which continues around the edge of the lawn to a gate in the fence allowing pedestrian access across the rear of the neighbour’s garden to the outside, where bins and garden refuse may easily be trundled. At the bottom of the garden, a solid looking wooden shed provides for all your garden equipment storage requirements, while the patio remains large enough for several deckchairs, a small table and a BBQ. What else could you possibly need?

If we return indoors and climb the stairs to the landing, moving to the front of the home reveals the smaller second bedroom. You’ll notice I say smaller because this is in no way actually small, being able to accommodate a double bed and all that entails although admittedly that would leave little in the way of free floor space. A large cupboard in the corner of the room provides welcome additional storage.

Further back along the landing we come to the family bathroom; tastefully decorated and comprehensively equipped, this offers everything you could realistically want or need. A modern contemporary suite comprising of a wall mounted hand basin, low level flush lavatory and bath with a glass screen protecting the body of the room from any over-exuberance in the shower. Speaking of which, the water for the shower is provided directly from the gas combi central heating boiler, ensuring a constant pressure and eliminating any sudden shocks from streams of water that suddenly turn icy cold when you least expect it. Let’s face it, re-living the ice bucket challenge on your way to work is rarely a good way to start the day.

Moving to the front of the home we discover the master bedroom. This is a very comfortable room indeed, with enough space for a large formal dressing table along with the double bed and its twin bedside cabinets. The clothes storage requirements are provided for by the one complete wall of fitted wardrobes which completely eliminate the need for free standing furniture.
