OK the outside could do with a lick of paint and the inside could use a little bit of TLC but for the price, this is a very decent home that’s ready to move straight into or become another property in your portfolio.

There’s plenty of parking on the road outside the house, with a set of steps leading up to the front door. Once inside the hallway, you notice just how bright it is and with the fresh smell of new carpets, welcomes you inside. Stairs lead to the first floor accommodation, with a generous storage space beneath them but for now, we’ll start with the lounge on our left.

A very bright and spacious double aspect room, with a large picture window to peer out from your elevated position in the road. This room offers space for large furniture as it opens up the full length of the house, disappearing into the dining room section.

Fresh carpet in the lounge and wood effect laminate floor in the dining room, probably for easy cleaning when messy friends come round to eat! A sliding patio door opens out into the rear garden, while a square Archway, yeah I know it doesn’t make sense but when you see it, it’s like a 21st Century Serving Hatch, opens into the galley style kitchen.

The kitchen has been fitted with very stylish units that adorn the walls and floor, large tiles on the floor with smaller wall mounted ones give this room a touch of class. Beautiful faux marble work surfaces cover three walls providing plenty of places to prepare food or place your modern kitchen appliances. Double aspect windows create a very light space to work in and a door give you access to the side and rear elevations.

Moving upstairs, a wooden banister keeps gives you leverage while climbing up to the first floor and a large set of frosted windows again keep the space nice and bright.
All of the doors have been stripped back to the bare wood.

The largest bedroom has a large bay window which gibes that little extra space which makes such a difference to the room. It also offers a huge window to which you can survey your land around, over the front aspect anyway.

The second bedroom is smaller but still a very good size, probably the main bedroom in a modern home. Again a large window looks out onto the rear garden.

The smallest bedroom is just that, able to house a single bed, a cot for a nursery or as mist people seem to be working from home today, a great office space.

Lastly, we come to the bathroom. In here you’ll find all of the usual suspects, bath, toilet and pedestal wash hand basin, all in a lovely white neutral colour. Tiled from floor to ceiling and with a frosted window, to bring ample light in and keep prying eyes out.

Outside in the rear garden, this is where you’re glad you bought an older home. You get a patio area directly outside the house, ideal for BBQs. Then you have three small tiers which lead up to the largest rear one at the top of the garden. This has been fully tiled and to me, is crying out for a Hot-Tub / Paddling Pool – yup I like to spend your money….
